Scuba Sport Magazine began conducting and publishing diving equipment reviews in its July 2012 issue. Manufacturers of diving equipment are not only welcome to send pieces of scuba equipment for consideration and testing, it is encouraged. Please remember that we are “the diving magazine for the recreational diver”. Please do not send us anything that could only be used in diving that goes beyond the scope of recreational scuba diving.
Currently there is no fee for a product review to be published. Money, promotional consideration or special services are not accepted as a means of ensuring that a product or service is reviewed. This allows our reviewers to remain objective.
However, unless prior arrangements and a formal agreement has been drawn up for an item’s return prior to the sending of any equipment to Scuba Sport Magazine, items will not be returned. Sender understands and acknowledges that taking the action to send items to Scuba Sport Magazine, LLC for testing, these items become the property of Scuba Sport Magazine, LLC.
Although a reasonable effort wil be made to keep review items safe and in “like-new” condition. Scuba Sport Magazine, LLC and its employees, agents and/or contractors will not be responsible for any damage to test equipment or the loss of any equipment caused by or while in the care of the TSA, all airlines, US Mail, UPS, Federal Express or any other company used in the transport of test equipment.
